       Each of us have at least one reason to complain of his hair sets. It's too curly, it's too straight, it does too much volume or not, but most often we have to deal with dandruff. Unfortunately, almost all of us face this problem at a time. In 90% of cases, anti-dandruff shampoo stop the phenomenon due to anti-fungal ingredients (tar, selenium sulphide, zinc pyrithione - ZPT and ketoconazole) which annihilates all Malassezia clan.

       The most important role in anti-dandruff plays ZPT, a white particle, harmless and without odor, which normalizes health, without affecting the aesthetic benefits provided by other ingredients of the shampoo. The use of dandruff shampoo will not stop from having a beautiful, shiny hair. Dandruff shampoo is efficient against mushrooms, but sensitive to your hair, leaving it clean, fresh and sparkling after every wash.

        Dandruff must be fought with a daily. Even less frequent wash favors dandruff occurence. Therefore, the rule no. 1 is frequent washing with a suitable shampoo for your hair type that is to say daily or 2-3 days, depending on how fast your hair becomes greasy. However, it is clear that you can not be seductive with a shining hair of sebum!

Indications of the dandruff shampoo

        Dandruff shampoo is recommended for people with dandruff, oily hair, or seborrheic scaling tendency of the scalp. It is reccomanded to contain clotrimazole (antimycotic) to combat and prevent mycoses in the scalp location. Birch leaf extract is a good tonic for the hair, restoring shine and health. Burdock root extract has emollient, antiseptic, especially antiseborrheic properties. Pine oil is tonic, and is cleaning the hair and scalp.

Application of the dandruff shampoo

       Apply shampoo on your hair previously moistened. Shampooing hair must be done at least 2 times, let it act for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

Effects

       Dandruff shampoo is antimicrobial, antiseptic and anti - irritating, regulates sebum secretion and strengthen the hair roots because of the active principles contained.

Types of dandruff shampoo

       In mild cases of dandruff, wash your hair more often with a hypoallergenic cosmetic shampoo. If the problem persists, you could get rid of it with medicinal shampoos. It is important to note that the latter should be used like any medicine, just following the instructions on the leaflet.

Dandruff shampoo with zinc pyrithione

        It contain substances with antibacterial and antifungal effect, and it used in cases of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

Tar based dandruff shampoo

       It may sound like an old woman's cure, but tar-product of coal processing, not only escape you of dandruff but also of seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. It relieves itching and slows cell turnover that is to say skin renewal process.

Dandruff shampoo with salicylic acid

       Salicylic acid of the dandruff shampoo makes a peeling and helps to remove dead cells and the "shells" of the scalp. The disadvantage is that it dries scalp, and irritates harder the skin. You will probably have to use a moisturizing conditioner to the scalp, if you choose this treatment.

Dandruff shampoo with selenium sulfate

        It slows turnover cell site and it seems to have an antifungal effect, in controlling guilty dandruff fungus. Manufacturers warn that these shampoos can discolor light-colored or dyed hair.

Ketoconazole based shampoos

       Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent with broad spectrum of action thus can give good results for persistent dandruff, what does not go away with other treatments.
